We are so excited about this year’s Kid’s Camp at Camp Crestview. I wanted you to be the first to hear about this year’s camp. Here are five words that come to mind when I think about camp...
Fun
First of all, camp is fun. Close your eyes and imagine holding your breath as you soar through the woods on the zip-line or work with your team to pan for gold at the mine. You’ll have fun every afternoon soaking up sun at the pool with your friends and reaching new heights as you climb the rock wall. You’ll be screaming for joy as you slide down the black hole into a refreshing pool of clear water. And when you need to slow down you can hang out in the shade while you make crafts. At night you’ll roast hot dogs and marshmallows over red hot coals in the fire pit, watch fireworks with your friends and enjoy exciting night swims.
Worship
Every evening we come together to worship Jesus. Like a cool glass of water after a long day, worship at camp will once again fill your heart with a new love for God.
Message
This year’s message will be life-changing for everyone. Our family production drama team is coming to perform every night. The message they bring will make this an unforgettable experience. This year’s message about self-control will capture your heart. You’ll learn that self-control is choosing to do what you should do, not what you want to do.
Friends
We’re going to have so much fun together. You’ll meet other kids who will become life-long friends. You’ll come home with friends who go to your church, love God and are learning, like you, to make the wise choice.
Leaders
Every year God brings great leaders to camp that help create an amazing environment of faith and fun. Our leaders come ready to make lasting memories, play crazy games and make kids feel like they’re the most important people on the planet. All our cabin leaders are recruited each year from our existing team at East Hill Kid Church.
